A piece for the Iron Giant Project.  One thing i learnt while drawing this:  i hate drawing robots.  Seriously.  They have no fleshybits to twist and bend to create fluidity, unlike humans who you can squish and squash to your heart's content... maybe i just need more practice.  Yeah, that's probably it.  

Now, onto those commissions i've been procrastinating over for much too long!

Yes, it's good to be back at the table after so long.  I'm still getting the hang of this sudden change in styles (from the get-shit-done-style i was rocking during the semester) so this guy's a bit of an experiment based on a couple styles i've seen around... well the colouring of it at least.  Shoutouts to drazebot and whoever did the end-credits on FLCL.  The text was more just me trying to fill up space haha.  Hope ya dig.

Edit: Added white face variant suggesting "sinisterness, treacherousness, suspiciousness and craftiness", whereas the yellow suggests "ambition, cool-headedness and fierceness"... as far as the internet has taught me at least.  Just seeing how i could mess with the mood a bit.

Uni Updateh

Hey there people, it's been a minute... Just thought i'd update to show you guys what i'm up to these days.  No time for personal art so it's all boring uni work i'm afraid.  

Here's a drybrushing i created for Illustration 1 paper, busted it out on the morning it was due.. cause i'm pro that way :P haha

The rest are more work from my animation as well as a bunch'a lecture doodles and whatnot.

Whoops, it's been a bit!  I need ALOT of practice in backgrounds, items, basically anything that's not drawing a person so i drew up the little set-up i've got going in my room.  Comes complete with drawingboard, lamp, and $50 warehouse desk.
